The nail point sealant tape GIPS Band is the adhesive profile for sound insulation with an anti-vibration function for the ribs of the curtain wall structure.

GIPS Band ensures perfect sealing for supporting profiles of ventilated walls in timber or other materials, and excellent soundproofing between cladding elements.

In a single solution, airtightness and sound insulation between structure and cladding: discover the properties of GIPS BAND.

GIPS BAND acts as material for soundproofing between internal linings, mechanically dividing the structure of the internal casing and the wall itself.

Made of closed-cell polyethylene (PE) foam with acrylic glue, it is extremely stable over time. It is not susceptible to chemical substances and, thanks to the high self-adhesive power, it can be applied easily either by hand or with the aid of the LIZARD unwinder.

The acrylic self-adhesive support makes it perfect for pre-assembly at the factory, for rapid installation on site.

Thanks to the closed cell structure, it is watertight and airtight, even if trimmed or drilled.
