Expand Band (formally called Kompri Band) is the hermetic self-expanding sealing tape in soundproofing material that ensures the sealing of joints between different materials and on very irregular surfaces.
Airtight and watertight, it prevents possible acoustic bridges forming in the gaps between different building materials, offering sound insulation up to 58 dB.
The pre-compressed self-adhesive profile in self-expanding polyurethane foam Kompri Band offers good sound insulation performance and airtightness.
Made of pre-compressed polyurethane foam impregnated with fireproof substances, it is available in a wide range of sizes that makes it possible to seal cracks between 1 and 20mm in an effective way, ensuring resistance to heavy rain and good performance in terms of soundproofing.
Besides good sound insulation performance, Expand Band ensures high thermal insulation and good fire protection.
It is the ideal solution for compensating for small irregularities in gaps practically and effectively, both inside and outside the building shell, without the need for either tools or primer.
Available in five sizes, it is compatible with the most common building materials.
Thanks its the special composition, it remains elastic and deformable over time, compensating for the movements of the wood and differential deformation of the building materials.
