Titan Silent Angle Bracket

Titan Silent is designed specifically for timber buildings. Used in wood-wood shear connections, providing a significant reduction of vibrations from footsteps and attenuation of the transmitted noise, for excellent acoustic comfort, by a reduction of acoustic bridges.

The excellent shear resistance of the angular bracket combined with the soundproofing of the profile limit these acoustic bridges.

There are two options for the acoustic profile to be combined with the angled bracket. Firstly, Titan: Xylofon comes ready to use, with a Xylofon plate pre-attached to the bracket. Secondly, for extra flexibility, the bracket can be combined with Aladin Stripe Soft, or Aladin Stripe Extra Soft, both of which can be cut to size and put in place on site.

Xylofon Plate and Aladin Stripe provide the opportunity for an excellent compromise between acoustic performance and mechanical resistance.

All our products are constructed from world-class materials:

Xylofon: 35 shore polyurethane mixture, free from VOC and harmful substances.

Aladin Stripe: Extruded compact EPDM (soft version) and compact EPDM foam (extra soft version). High chemical stability, VOC-free.

Titan: DX51D carbon steel with Z275 zinc coating. Application in service class 1 and 2 (EN 1995:2008).

Abatement values for vibrations and shear mechanical strength tested in both academic and industrial environments.
